An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established and highly regarded industrial organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Description
- Prepare month-end journals, reconciliations and reporting
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and monthly management reporting
- Partner with operational managers to analyse business performance
- Prepare financial reports and provide commercial insights
- Review and maintain general ledger integrityRespond to day-to-day finance queries from operational stakeholders
- Assist with audit requirements and compliance activities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and challenge existing processes where appropriate
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Previous experience in a similar role within industrial environment
- Strong month-end, reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Advanced Excel capabilities and confidence working with large data sets
- Experience operating within a medium-to-large organisation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Accounting qualifications (CA/CPA or equivalent advantageous)
- Exposure to ERP systems, ideally within a complex operating environment
