This is a pivotal campaign marketing and project delivery role, responsible for turning Aon's growth priorities into well-managed, high-impact activity. The Campaign Senior Specialist will lead work from brief through to launch, optimisation and review - bringing structure to sophisticated projects, aligning internal stakeholders, managing external suppliers and agencies, and keeping delivery on time, on budget and on brand.
We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded marketer who combines sound judgement with curiosity, including an interest in how AI and emerging marketing tools can improve insight, creativity, efficiency and client engagement.
The Campaign Senior Specialist owns the planning, project management, coordination, execution, optimisation and reporting of Aon's marketing channel activity and growth campaigns, as well as the day-to-day management of digital platforms and websites. Working across multiple priorities, the role establishes clear briefs, plans, budgets, milestones, responsibilities and measures of success; builds alignment across internal teams; and manages external suppliers and agencies to deliver high-quality outcomes.
This role provides dedicated campaign leadership, channel management and project delivery capability across Aon's marketing ecosystem. It suits a proactive, commercially focused marketer who can translate business needs into clear plans, lead projects through ambiguity, influence collaborators at different levels and hold internal contributors and external partners accountable for delivery.
The role works across campaigns, events, sponsorships, partnerships, website, content, email, paid media, social and sales enablement, using data, marketing technology and emerging AI capabilities to improve how activity is developed, delivered and measured. Success will be reflected in disciplined execution, strong partner relationships, effective supplier performance and measurable commercial impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end project management of priority campaigns and marketing initiatives, from discovery and briefing through planning, production, launch, optimisation and post-activity review.
- Create clear project plans covering scope, objectives, audiences, deliverables, timelines, budgets, responsibilities, dependencies, risks, approvals and measures of success.
- Lead cross-functional delivery with marketing, growth, sales, broking, business leaders and regional teams, building alignment, communicating progress and resolving contending priorities or blockers early.
- Brief, lead and challenge external agencies, production partners and other suppliers, ensuring work is commercially sound, on brief, on budget, on time and to the required quality.
- Plan, deliver and optimise activity across relevant touchpoints, including events, sponsorships, partnerships, websites, landing pages, email, paid media, social, content, sales enablement and client engagement.
- Manage project governance and delivery cadence, including status reporting, budget tracking, decision logs, approvals, quality assurance, risks and collaborator updates.
- Ensure campaign activity has effective lead capture, handover, tracking, reporting and follow-up processes to support commercial conversion and measurement of marketing return on investment.
- Use campaign data, client insight and feedback to evaluate performance, identify optimisation opportunities and communicate clear recommendations.
- Bring curiosity about AI and emerging marketing technology, identifying practical opportunities to improve research, ideation, content development, personalisation, workflow efficiency and campaign measurement.
- Support the responsible adoption of AI-enabled tools by applying appropriate governance, privacy, brand, accuracy and human-review standards.
- Maintain brand consistency, accessibility, content accuracy and quality control across all campaign assets and channels.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by documenting lessons, strengthening ways of working and sharing effective practices across the team.
