Are you an experienced Centre Director or ambitious 2IC looking for an exciting new opportunity in 2027? We're partnering with an established, family-owned early childhood provider opening a brand-new service in South West Sydney. With a 2027 start available, this is a fantastic opportunity to finish the year with your current team and families before taking on a fresh challenge in the new year.

We're looking for a warm, enthusiastic and people-focused leader who loves building relationships, bringing teams together and creating a positive centre culture, while maintaining strong standards in quality and compliance. This is an opportunity to shape a centre from the beginning, recruit your own team and create an environment where children, families and educators genuinely enjoy being. Importantly, you won't be doing it alone. You'll have excellent support from a hands-on owner and experienced Operations Manager who will work closely with you throughout the opening process and beyond.

What you'll be doing:

  • Building a welcoming, positive and collaborative team culture
  • Recruiting, mentoring and developing a strong team of educators
  • Establishing meaningful relationships with children, families and the local community
  • Leading quality, compliance and day-to-day centre operations
  • Supporting enrolments and occupancy growth
  • Creating a fun, engaging and supportive working environment
  • Working closely with the owner and Operations Manager to establish a successful service

About you:

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people. Someone approachable, energetic and positive who can bring a team together, have fun along the way and still maintain high standards. You'll ideally bring:

  • A Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education
  • Experience as a Centre Director, Assistant Director or 2IC
  • Strong knowledge of the NQF, regulations and compliance
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A collaborative, supportive and hands-on leadership style
  • Confidence managing challenging conversations and maintaining accountability
  • A genuine passion for creating a positive experience for children, families and educators

You don't need to have opened a centre before. With excellent support available, we're equally interested in hearing from experienced Centre Directors and confident 2ICs who are ready to take the next step.

Why consider this opportunity?

  • Salary up to $125,000 + super, depending on experience
  • 2027 start available, allowing you to finish the year with your current centre
  • Brand-new, purpose-built early learning service
  • Supportive, approachable owner and experienced Operations Manager
  • Opportunity to recruit your own team and shape the centre culture
  • Established, family-owned provider with exciting growth plans
  • Genuine opportunity to develop your leadership career as the organisation grows
