Club Manager – Anytime Fitness Brunswick North (New Club Opening)
Be the founding leader of a brand-new club.
Anytime Fitness Brunswick North is opening in one of Melbourne’s fastest-growing residential pockets. We’re a local, owner-operated group that has run Anytime Fitness clubs in Brunswick for over 16 years. We’re looking for a Club Manager to launch this club and make it the heart of the neighbourhood.
This isn’t a “keep the lights on” role. You’ll build the membership base from zero, starting with founding-member pre-sales, and shape the culture, team and community feel from day one.
What you’ll do
- Lead the pre-sale campaign and hit membership targets before and after opening
- Run tours, consultations and sign-ups, turning enquiries into loyal members
- Build local partnerships with businesses, schools, sporting clubs and residential buildings
- Plan and run community events, challenges and member engagement activities
- Recruit, lead and support a small team of staff and personal trainers
- Own retention so members stay, train and refer their friends
- Manage club operations: cleanliness, safety, equipment, member issues and reporting
- Track and report on KPIs, including sales, retention, PT revenue and lead conversion
- Run local marketing and social media with support from the owners and Anytime Fitness Head Office
About you
- 2+ years’ experience in gym or club management, fitness sales, hospitality or retail leadership
- A proven record of hitting sales targets, with numbers you can talk us through
- Genuine energy for people. You remember names and make everyone feel welcome
- Self-starter who’s excited, not daunted, by building something new
- Organised and comfortable with CRMs, rosters and basic reporting
- Passionate about health and fitness, though you don’t need to be a PT
- Local to, or familiar with, Brunswick and the inner north (highly regarded)
- Cert III/IV in Fitness
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Experience opening a new club, venue or store
- Experience with Anytime Fitness or another 24/6 gym model
