Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to emergency and hospitalised patients
- Support veterinarians with diagnostics, treatments, and emergency procedures
- Monitor patients, administer medications, and maintain accurate medical records
- Assist in surgical and critical care cases as required
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with clients during stressful situations
- Uphold hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety procedures
- Contribute positively to team culture and knowledge sharing
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
- 2+ years of experience in a busy GP clinic or in an emergency/critical care role
- Strong technical skills (IV catheter placement, blood sampling, anesthesia monitoring)
- Calm, focused, and compassionate under pressure
- Great communication skills and a genuine passion for animal care
- Available and flexible to work some evenings, weekends, and public holidays on a rotating roster
