Recruitment Consultant | High Commission + Career Growth
You're great at what you do. But are you getting rewarded like it?
You might be a recruiter who consistently finds the candidates nobody else can.
You might be a high-performing salesperson who's brilliant at building relationships, solving problems and making things happen.
Or perhaps you're already doing the work of a team leader, without the title, recognition or opportunity to actually become one.
Whatever your background, you know you're capable of more.
Sound familiar? We should talk.
We're Anila Recruitment. And we're doing things differently.
We're a growing recruitment agency operating exclusively in Early Years & OSHC. No other industries. No distractions.
Founded by Andi Kandias after spending over a decade working directly in the sector, Anila was built on the belief that recruitment should be done differently.
We've built our reputation on doing one thing exceptionally well, and we're looking for another outstanding person to help us take the business further.
But we're not looking for just anyone.
We're looking for someone ambitious. Someone who takes pride in their work. Someone who cares about making a difference in the lives of children through better early education.
Someone who wants to build something bigger than just a successful desk.
And importantly, someone who wants to be rewarded for it.
The opportunity at a glance.
-
Base salary: $80,000β$95,000, depending on experience and capability.
-
Earning potential: Up to $150,000 OTE for exceptional performance.
-
Working arrangement: Hybrid, based in NSW.
-
Your market: You'll manage recruitment opportunities across an interstate Early Years & OSHC portfolio.
-
Career progression: Genuine opportunities to grow into Team Leader and Management positions.
OTE represents potential total annual earnings, including base salary and commission. Actual earnings depend on performance and are not guaranteed.
What we're looking for (and what we're not).
We're selective about who joins our team. Not because we're looking for someone with the perfect CV, but because we know the difference the right person can make.
What we want:
-
A hungry mindset. You want to be an exceptional recruiter and want continuous growth, pushing your earning potential every single month.
-
Someone who takes ownership. You take responsibility for your work, follow through on your commitments and don't need to be chased.
-
A natural relationship builder. You're confident speaking with people, ask great questions and know how to earn someone's trust.
-
A proactive problem-solver. You don't sit around waiting for opportunities to come to you. You go looking for them.
-
Someone commercially minded. You're motivated by results, understand the value of great service and genuinely enjoy achieving goals.
-
Resilience and determination. You can handle setbacks, adapt when things don't go to plan and keep moving forward.
-
High standards. You care about the quality of your work, pay attention to the details and take pride in delivering on your promises.
-
Ambition. You want to earn well, develop your skills and build a career with genuine progression.
What you don't need:
-
Previous recruitment experience. We welcome exceptional people from sales, business development and other relationship-focused backgrounds.
-
Experience in Early Years & OSHC. We can teach you the industry and our approach to recruitment.
What we're not looking for:
-
Someone who needs 8 months to ramp up. We expect results in your first 3 months.
-
Someone who needs constant supervision. We'll support you, but we expect you to take initiative and be accountable for your work.
-
Someone who gives up when things get difficult. Recruitment comes with challenges, and persistence is part of the job.
-
Someone who values quantity over quality. We're not interested in sending CVs for the sake of it. We care about making great placements.
-
Someone who sacrifices quality for a quick commission. We want people who are hungry to earn, driven to perform and committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for their clients and candidates.
Experience is valuable. Attitude, character and work ethic are non-negotiable.
So, what will you actually be doing?
You'll be managing your own recruitment assignments from beginning to end, connecting exceptional people with Early Years & OSHC organisations in your assigned market.
We're a relationship-driven business, and you'll be at the centre of those relationships.
Here's what your day-to-day will look like:
-
Owning the recruitment process from start to finish. From understanding a client's needs to sourcing, interviewing and placing the right person.
-
Finding people others can't. Proactively sourcing, approaching and engaging exceptional candidates, including those who aren't actively looking for work.
-
Building genuine candidate relationships. Getting to know people beyond their CV, understanding their motivations and helping them make the right career decisions.
-
Partnering with clients. Building relationships with Early Years & OSHC providers, understanding their businesses and becoming someone they genuinely trust.
-
Interviewing and assessing talent. Asking the right questions, recognising potential and confidently recommending candidates who are the right fit.
-
Managing the finer details. Coordinating interviews, reference checks, offers and placements while delivering an exceptional experience for everyone involved.
-
Maintaining relationships beyond the placement. Staying connected with candidates and clients because great recruitment doesn't end when someone signs a contract.
And if you've got a natural talent for business development?
Even better.
While winning new clients isn't a requirement of your role, we value people who take initiative and offer additional rewards for bringing new business opportunities to Anila.
You'll have ownership, responsibility and the freedom to make a genuine impact.
Let's talk about the money.
We believe exceptional performance deserves exceptional rewards.
And we've built a remuneration and commission structure that reflects exactly that.
We're talking about serious earning potential, with a highly rewarding commission model designed to recognise your performance and contribution to the business.
We also believe that people who go above and beyond, take initiative and create opportunities deserve to share in that success.
We're not interested in putting unnecessary limits on what our best people can achieve.
If you're exceptional at what you do, we want you earning exceptional money.
The specifics? We'd love to walk you through them when we meet.
But there's something we value just as much as earnings.
Your future.
We're building a business where career progression isn't just something written at the bottom of a job advertisement.
It's something we're actively creating.
We're growing, and with that growth comes real opportunities for ambitious people to step into leadership and management positions.
We believe in developing our people and promoting from within.
If you have the ambition, capability and performance to lead, we want to help you get there.
We don't want great people sitting in the same position for years wondering when someone above them might leave.
We want our people to grow as the business grows.
Here's the thing.
We're looking to hire now.
But we're not going to rush into hiring the wrong person.
We're building something special, and protecting the quality of our team matters more than filling an empty seat.
So, if you're ambitious, talented and starting to wonder whether there's something better out there, we'd love to have a conversation.
Even if you're not actively looking.
