Dawson Mine is a large and dynamic open cut steelmaking coal mine operation made up of two operating pits – Central and South. It commenced operations in 1961 and is one of the oldest coal mining operations in Central Queensland.
We would like to invite applications from experienced Dragline Operators to join our Dawson Operation in Moura, QLD on a full-time permanent basis. You will work as part of a team operating our BE1370 & Marion 8200 Draglines to produce Steelmaking Coal whilst demonstrating safe working behaviours and practices to achieve set targets.
Qualifications:
- Be an experienced dragline operator with Dozer skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge in dragline set up, operations and dig methods.
- Provide proof of your operating experience.
- Display excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be a team player with a safety first mindset.
- Drive optimization and continuous performance improvement.
Full-time permanent position available at our Dawson Mine site.
Employed under the Dawson Mines Collective Enterprise Agreement 2024.
Residential and Drive-in-Drive-Out options available.
Company funded camp accommodation available.
