About the Role
At JBS Australia, we are looking for reliable Cold Stores Labourers to join our team on a full-time basis. Working within our high-volume Hemmant Cold Stores Facility, you'll play an important role in maintaining safety, product quality and operational efficiency. Your daily duties will include order preparation, paperwork verification, loading and unloading containers, sorting products and general cold store cleaning. This is a great opportunity to build your skills and develop your career with a global industry leader.
The standard rate for this role is $28.32 per hour and we offer various shift options including:
- Day Shift | Monday to Friday | 6am to 2pm
- Afternoon Shift | Monday to Friday | 2pm to 10pm (penalty rates apply)
- Night Shift | Sunday to Thursday | 10pm to 6am (penalty rates apply)

About You
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Attention to detail and sound numerical skills
- Physically fit (manual labour is required)
- Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods of time
- Ability to comply with company policies and procedures
- Flexibility with hours including availability to work overtime as required

Hemmant receives a high volume of truck and container loads of product from all the JBS sites around Australia, these are then re‑loaded for our domestic and international customer’ orders and readied for transport.
