The job duties are as follow for HVAC:
- Installing, troubleshooting and overhauling entire heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Measuring refrigeration or air-conditioning components for installation by laying out reference points
- Follow plans and specifications to install, commission, service and maintain equipment
- Working with hand and power tools to install refrigeration or air conditioning components such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, gauges and so on
- Measuring and cutting piping, and connecting piping using welding equipment
- Testing heating, ventilation, air conditioning checking
- Installs air conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment in industrial, commercial and domestic settings
- Assembles components and parts to construct air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Repairs and maintains air conditioning and refrigeration components such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators and pumps
- Repairs and maintains air conditioning and refrigeration lines used for refrigerant, liquids and gases in the air conditioning, heating or cooling process
- Tests operational air conditioning and refrigeration systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
- Fills systems with gas or fluid to check for leaks, and removes gas and fluids with vacuum pumps
- Recovers and fills refrigerant in air conditioning and refrigeration systems
Qualification & experience
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of relevant industry experience in air conditioning and refrigeration is preferable.
Strong knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
Experience installing, servicing and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and specifications.
Knowledge of refrigerant handling procedures and workplace safety requirements.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Good time management and organisational skills.
Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and maintaining safety standards.

With a strong presence in Western Australia Victoria and NSW We are looking or a full - time employee with min 1-2 yrs experience in Air conditioning Mechanic with an ability to work independently within existing protocols.
The salary offered will be between $78,000 - $85,000.
