A smaller, independent Building Services consultancy is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join its Sydney team.
Ideally someone operating at Associate level, although a strong Senior Engineer with proven project leadership experience will also be considered.
The role
You'll work across a portfolio of genuinely interesting projects, alongside some of Sydney's best architects, designers and builders, including:
- High-end commercial office fitouts
- Architecturally driven projects where design really matters
- Projects that offer direct relationships with clients and the wider design team
There's something to be said for working on a billion-dollar infrastructure project. Looks great on a CV. But there's also something to be said for working with great architects and builders who invite you along to rooftop drinks on a Friday afternoon.
This is very much the latter.
You'll have the opportunity to lead projects, develop client relationships and work closely with the people making the decisions, rather than getting lost somewhere in a huge project team.
About you
- Currently operating at Senior Mechanical Engineer level or above
- Must have experience working within a Building Services design consultancy
- Strong mechanical design and technical capability
- Proven experience leading projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable managing clients, architects and contractors directly
- Someone who enjoys qthe people side of engineering as much as the technical side
