Amharc is looking for an experienced Formworker and Concreter to join our team in South East Queensland. With a steady pipeline of diverse projects, we offer stable, long-term work in a professional and friendly environment. We are seeking a dedicated individual interested in a long-term role as part of one of our core crews.
About the Role
As a Formworker / Concreter, you will be responsible for a range of concreting tasks, including:
- Bridgeworks, retaining walls, culverts, slab-on-ground (footpaths, v-drains, etc.)
- Reading and interpreting formwork drawings, reinforcement plans, and steel schedules
- Performing all aspects of formwork, steel fixing, and concreting
- Preparing, boxing up, basic formwork, screeding, operating trowel machines, pouring, and occasional vertical concrete works
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the civil construction industry
- Ability to work independently and lead a team of tradespeople
- Strong commitment to safety and quality work
- A reliable and proactive approach
Essential Requirements
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- White Card
- Certificate III in Concreting or Carpentry (or relevant experience)
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Desirable Tickets & Licences (Advantageous but Not Essential)
- EWP (Elevated Work Platform)
- Telehandler
- Working at Heights
- Dogman
- Riggers
- Scaffolders
