Each AMBOSSian is passionate about being the champion of clinicians today - this motivates and unites us each day towards success.

Why can this position be exciting for you?

Your goal would be to promote the growth of AMBOSS and help bring it to medical schools and teaching institutions. Your contributions will directly support our mission to equip medical students and physicians in Australia with the best medical knowledge for delivering exceptional care. This dynamic role offers a mix of market strategy creation, business development, and marketing, providing opportunities to embrace your entrepreneurial spirit.

You will:

  • Plan, together with your team, which medical schools and universities in Australia and other regions across Asia-Pacific don't yet offer their students an AMBOSS license.
  • Build strong relationships with active users and decision-makers, extending our partnerships beyond universities into affiliated institutions.
  • Conduct needs analyses and create tailored presentations depending on the target university partner.
  • Act as the interface between medical students and AMBOSS teams such as Customer Success, Sales Operations, and Marketing.
  • Plan projects and events on behalf of AMBOSS, using your proximity to medical schools to bring your own ideas to life.
  • Support universities as a reliable partner, from the initial approach through to successful implementation.
  • Work closely with our Data Team and Sales Operations to analyze and evaluate usage data.
  • Represent AMBOSS at events and build your network to increase brand awareness.
  • Drive product and commercial partnerships with other businesses in the field to grow awareness and revenue.
  • Test newly implemented concepts and products, like AMBOSS AI Mode.
  • Assess AMBOSS's product-market fit for Australia, including how licensing works across the country's different medical schools and universities.
  • Support our other Asia-Pacific markets as we grow, if you'd like to branch out.

You bring:

  • Medical background: a licensed medical degree from Australia, ideally complemented by clinical or consultancy experience.
  • Strong communication skills: you adapt your language to persuade diverse stakeholders and feel comfortable presenting ideas clearly and effectively.
  • You stay on top of school needs and the latest developments in the medical and EdTech space.
  • You're interested in digital solutions and the impact they can have on medical education and everyday clinical practice.
  • Experience in networking, or a strong interest in building relationships across the healthcare and higher education sector.
  • Willingness to travel and get to know medical schools and universities across Australia.
  • Project management skills: you manage multiple parallel projects efficiently in a fast-changing healthcare environment.
  • An independent, structured working style with strong organizational and time-management skills.

This is a full-time role, and we’re looking for someone who can dedicate their 38 hours per week and make a meaningful impact in medical education.

Benefits:

  • Learning & Development (Internal & external trainings, workshops & hackathons, AI cross-talks & seminars, Blinkist access, and more..)
  • Work From Somewhere Sunny (Access to our offices in Cagliari and Cape Town, visit the HQs, Berlin in summer)

We believe that diversity is a powerful driver of innovation and progress. That’s why we are committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and supportive environment where everyone—regardless of gender, age, ethnic or cultural background, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity is valued and given equal opportunity to thrive.
