About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hands-on, confident and reliable person to join our team in a Production Team Leader position at our Commercial laundry.
The Production Team Leader is responsible for providing team leadership to a group of production workers who make up the heart of our business; key in delivering to our customer's expectations.
The day-to-day responsibilities of Production Team Leader include:
- Allocate work to team members to meet the requirements of the production schedule
- Monitor product quality and take action as required
- Ensure safety requirements are adhered to
- Ensure company policies and procedures are being adhered to
- Liaise with other Team Leaders to ensure daily schedules are met
To be successful as a Production Team Leader, you'll need the following key skills and experience:
- Ability to lead a team to meet the requirements of the production schedule
- Able to stand for long periods
- Reasonable level of personal fitness to meet the demands of the job
- Experience in a Production environment
- Experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor is desired but not required
- People management and mentoring skills
While previous commercial/industrial laundry experience will be highly regarded, it is not essential for this role. You may have previously worked as a process worker, pick/packer or in a hospital/hospitality environment that involved cleaning or laundry duties.
