Al's Gym is looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated receptionist to join our team for our early morning shifts. As the first point of contact for our members, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring the gym is ready for the day.
Key responsibilities:
- Opening the gym at 5:00 AM and ensuring everything is ready for members
- Greeting members and providing friendly customer service
- Managing the front reception desk and handling general enquiries
- Answering phone calls, emails and membership enquiries and cancellations
- Signing up new members and assisting with memberships
- Processing payments and handling sales
- Keeping the reception area and gym clean, tidy and presentable
- Assisting members with any questions or concerns
- Completing general reception and administrative duties
About you:
- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to consistently start at 5:00 AM
- Friendly, bubbly, approachable and confident dealing with customers
- Good communication and organisation skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Basic computer skills. Preferably knowledge on how to use Clubware and Debitsuccess
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Previous reception or customer service experience preferred but not essential
