- Belt Splicers x 6 | Permanent Positions
Allstar Blue are currently recruiting for experienced Belt Splicers for Residential positions based in Newman. Key Responsibilities: *Belt Splicing, repairs, Maintenance and Installations to fabric, ply, solid woven and steel- cord belts. *Remove and replace belts without supervision. *Conduct belt audits. *Operate winches and winders. *Sets up and plans equipment for continuous operations. *Assist with creating splice reports. *Perform hot and cold repairs. *Perform pulley lagging. *Apply mechanical clips. What's Required: *Minimum 3 - 5 Years experience *Experience with Fabric/Steel Cord/Solid Woven/Ply etc. *Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical *Willing to relocate to Newman What's On Offer?: *Competitive rates (Including Penalties & Allowances) *Residential Positions / Accommodation assistance *All roles include work on various sites around Newman and WA. *Depending on project requirements you may be required to travel as and when required. All candidates must be willing to relocate to Newman or be residing in the area to be considered - This is not a FIFO position.
