What's the role on offer?

Alliance Airlines is seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Crew Resource Analyst to join our Brisbane-based team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our Flight and Cabin Crew resources are effectively planned to support a growing and dynamic operation. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment and enjoy solving complex planning challenges, this is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for an experienced workforce planning professional who enjoys working with data, forecasting future resource requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive operational efficiency. You will bring a strong analytical mindset and the ability to translate complex information into practical business outcomes.

  • Develop and maintain crew workforce plans across short, medium, and long-term planning horizons.
  • Forecast crew requirements and identify future recruitment, training, and upgrade needs.
  • Analyse resource trends and model workforce scenarios to support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Recommend improvements to crew utilisation, productivity, and cost management initiatives.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across Crew Planning, Flight Operations, and Scheduling functions.
  • Prepare and present accurate reports for senior leadership on crew productivity, availability, and costs.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives.
  • Support annual leave planning, resource allocation, and workforce optimisation activities.
  • Champion safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across all planning activities.

What you will need to succeed?

  • Tertiary qualifications in Mathematics, Finance, Business, Operations, Aviation, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in airline operations, workforce planning, resource management, or logistics environments.
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong reporting capabilities.
  • Knowledge of workforce planning methodologies and resource optimisation principles.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience performing cost analysis, budgeting, and workforce modelling.
  • Ability to work effectively in a time‑sensitive operational environment.
