Position Details
- Location: Remote community, Northern Territory
- Hours: 38 hours per week
- Pay Rate: $36.81 per hour + 25% casual loading
- Casual Rate: $46.01 per hour
- Accommodation: Provided

About the Role
As the Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene and kitchen safety.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard.
- Planning and organising food preparation to meet daily requirements.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen.
- Following food safety regulations and workplace procedures.
- Monitoring food supplies and assisting with stock control.
- Working collaboratively with other staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience working as a cook in a commercial kitchen.
- Relevant cooking qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication, organisation and time-management skills.
- A flexible and positive attitude towards working in a remote community.
