The Role
We are seeking a Social Media Account Manager who is both creative and analytical, with a strong understanding of Meta platforms (Facebook & Instagram).
You will manage client accounts, develop content strategies, create engaging content and oversee day-to-day execution across multiple social channels.
We're looking for someone who understands social media trends, enjoys creating content and is confident using creative tools, including AI-powered design and video editing software.
This is a full-time, office-based position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow client social media accounts across Meta, TikTok and other relevant platforms.
- Develop content calendars, write engaging captions and collaborate with the creative team on visuals and video assets.
- Create and edit engaging social media content, including reels, stories and short-form videos.
- Film content using mobile phones or professional camera equipment, depending on campaign requirements.
- Utilise AI-powered creative tools and design software to enhance content development and production.
- Stay up to date with social trends, platform updates and best practices to create content that cuts through.
- Manage Meta Ads campaigns, including boosting, targeting and analysing performance.
- Monitor, moderate and engage with online communities to build a strong brand presence.
- Analyse account insights, prepare reports and provide recommendations to clients.
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm fresh campaign ideas and creative concepts.
- Maintain high attention to detail across scheduling, deadlines and reporting.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands, agencies or businesses across various industries.
- Strong knowledge of Meta Business Suite, Ads Manager and Instagram best practices.
- Experience with or a good working knowledge of AI-powered creative design tools and their application in social media content creation.
- Experience using video editing software such as CapCut or similar platforms to produce engaging short-form content.
- Ability to film social media content using a mobile phone, with experience using professional camera equipment highly regarded.
- Professional filming experience is preferred but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided.
- Creative thinker with a strong eye for engaging visual content, including photography, reels, stories and videos.
- Ability to interpret analytics and optimise campaigns for performance.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and projects.
- Proactive, collaborative and adaptable, with a positive can-do attitude.
- Willingness to learn new creative technologies, AI tools and production techniques.
