Alivio Tourist Park Canberra is a busy, guest focused accommodation property on the north side of Canberra in O'Connor - only 4 km from the city. We are looking for a Receptionist to join our dedicated Front Office Team! This is a casual position with shifts available morning and afternoon. Shifts are typically:
- Morning shifts 7.00am – 2.30pm
- Middle shifts 11.00am – 7.00pm
- Afternoon shifts 2.30pm – 10.30pm
The right candidate will need to have flexible availability through the week as well as weekends. Availability during the December and January holiday season is essential. We are currently looking for candidates who can work 2 - 4 shifts per week on a 7-day rotating roster.
The main duties associated with this role will be to:
- Check guests in and out
- Answer incoming phone calls relating to guest enquiries
- Enter new bookings into the database
- Assist with in-house guest needs throughout the park
- Perform various administrative tasks
In addition to the noted duties, there may also be some light duties in our restaurant, The Verandah, which may include:
- Running and clearing the floor
- Taking orders using a point-of-sale system
- Making espresso
- Cleaning duties
- Greeting guests on an ad hoc basis
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you:
- Are a team player
- Have previous administration experience
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Have a high attention to detail
- Are confident in using Microsoft Office
- Have the ability to be flexible in your working hours
- Are well presented
- Are fully COVID-19 vaccinated
