About the role
We are looking for a friendly and customer-focused Casual Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team at Alivio Tourist Park Canberra. This is a casual position with flexible hours, perfect for those looking to supplement their income or gain experience in the hospitality industry.
What you'll be doing
- Providing exceptional customer service to guests by taking food and beverage orders, serving meals and drinks, and ensuring tables are clean and presentable.
- Preparing and serving a range of coffees and other hot beverages to a high standard.
- Assisting with food preparation and replenishing stock as needed.
- Attending to the bar (current RSA is essential).
- Handling cash and processing payments accurately.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area.
- Supporting the wider team as required to ensure the smooth operation of the venue.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a customer-facing hospitality role, such as a cafe, restaurant or bar.
- Previous experience as a barista will be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Enthusiasm for providing top-notch customer service and a desire to contribute to a positive team environment.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays and occasional split shifts.
- A Valid ACT RSA and full availability for the Christmas and New Years period are essential.
