Job Description
Shape gaming product performance across one of Australia's largest hotel groups. Use your EGM expertise to drive commercial performance and implement product strategy. Work with leading gaming manufacturers and influence product decisions.
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Gaming Product Manager to join our ALH Hotels team, supporting one of Australia's largest and most diverse gaming portfolios. Reporting to the Head of Gaming Product, you'll play a key role in analysing and optimising the performance of electronic gaming machines (EGMs) across a portfolio of ALH venues. Combining your knowledge of the Australian gaming industry with strong analytical and commercial capabilities, you'll help ensure we have the right gaming products in the right venues to deliver strong performance and engaging customer experiences. Based in Sydney, you'll work closely with State Gaming Managers, gaming manufacturers and our broader Gaming team to identify market trends, evaluate new products and influence data-driven decisions that support our gaming strategy.
Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
- Manage gaming product performance across a portfolio of ALH hotels, identifying opportunities to optimise gaming floor performance and commercial outcomes.
- Analyse electronic gaming machine performance, game titles, category trends and customer engagement to support product and investment decisions.
- Evaluate new gaming products, return-to-player (RTP) settings and jackpot configurations to ensure alignment with commercial and operational objectives.
- Build strong relationships with gaming machine manufacturers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to stay informed on emerging products and industry developments.
- Develop data-driven recommendations and business cases for new gaming product installations, replacements and capital investment.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify opportunities and support ALH's broader gaming product strategy.
- Monitor and review gaming product performance following implementation, identifying insights to inform future decisions.
- Partner with Gaming Operations, Finance and Gaming Systems teams to ensure accurate reporting, effective decision-making and responsible gaming outcomes.
Qualifications
Now let’s talk about you:
- Demonstrated experience in the Australian electronic gaming machine (EGM) industry, ideally within gaming product management, product analytics or gaming operations.
- Strong understanding of gaming machine products, game performance, market trends and the Australian gaming landscape.
- Proven analytical capability, with experience interpreting gaming performance data and translating insights into practical commercial recommendations.
- Sound knowledge of gaming product performance metrics, including RTP, jackpots and gaming floor optimisation.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to assess product performance and identify opportunities to improve business outcomes.
- Advanced Excel skills, with experience using SQL, Power BI or other analytical and reporting tools highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships across gaming operations, suppliers and commercial teams.
- A proactive, curious and collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently and contribute to broader team objectives.
The benefits are good too!
- An exclusive discount card for our ALH Hotels pubs & accommodation, BWS, Dan Murphy’s and other Endeavour Group brands.
- Through our partnership with Woolworths, you'll also enjoy discounts at Woolies supermarkets and BIG W.
- As a valued member of the team, your health and wellbeing is our top priority. You will have access to a range of free services to help you live well and support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
