About the role
We are seeking Casual Labourers - Assemblers to join our team at our Eastern Creek NSW facility. This is a casual position offering flexibility whilst contributing to our manufacturing operations. As a Labourer - Assembler, you will play a vital role in our production process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a professional manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble hoses, fittings, and related components according to specifications and technical drawings
- Operate hand tools and basic machinery to complete assembly tasks accurately and efficiently
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and identify any defects
- Prepare materials and components for assembly, maintaining an organised and clean workstation
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures and protocols on site
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines
- Report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality problems to supervisors promptly
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
What we're looking for
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work and maintaining high standards
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions carefully and accurately
- Basic hand-eye coordination and dexterity for precise assembly work
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and manufacturing processes
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety practices
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, or labouring experience is advantageous but not essential - we are willing to train the right candidate
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
