About the role

We’re looking for an organised, campaign-minded Marketing & Communications Manager to run al.ive body’s campaigns end to end — and make sure every piece lands on time and on brief. You’ll take each brand, product and promotional campaign from outline through to launch and post-campaign review. That means owning the campaign plan, writing the briefs, holding the timeline, and working closely with design, social, content, digital/ecommerce and sales to pull it all together. You’ll also own our trade marketing execution for corporate partners and independents, plus campaign and product copywriting. This is an individual contributor role reporting to our Head of Brand. You won’t have direct reports, but you will be the person the whole marketing team looks to for what’s due, from whom and by when. It will suit someone who likes order, enjoys bringing people along, and gets genuine satisfaction from a campaign that ships clean.

About al.ive body

al.ive body is a personal and home care brand, creators of aesthetic moments and champions of conscious living. Our mission is to offer a delightful fusion of form and function, where style meets sustainability. With our premium Australian made products, we elevate the aesthetics of your home while embracing the power of nature. We launched in March 2020 and in a few short years have grown from start up to scale up. This is a great opportunity to join a business that continues to grow across current markets, new international markets and organisational capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Project Management
    • Develop campaign outlines, and execute the promotional calendar and promotional outlines.
    • Build and maintain the campaign plan for each campaign — deliverables, owners, dependencies and launch dates — as the single source of truth.
    • Run campaign WIPs, track progress, and keep every contributor clear on what’s due and when.
    • Spot risks and slipping deliverables early, solve what you can and escalate the rest with a recommendation.
  • Briefing & Asset Delivery
    • Write clear asset briefs covering objective, audience, message, deliverables, formats, specs and deadlines.
    • Manage development timelines across internal teams and external agencies.
    • Run asset reviews, consolidate feedback into a single round, and make sure what ships is on brief and on brand.
  • Reporting & Post-Campaign Review
    • Run post-campaign reviews, pulling results across channels into one view against the original objective.
    • Report on performance and turn it into practical recommendations for the next campaign.
  • Copywriting
    • Write product and campaign copy in al.ive’s brand voice.
    • Adapt campaign messaging across D2C, B2B, website, email, trade collateral and point of sale.
  • Trade Marketing & B2B
    • Owns the B2B email marketing calendar and briefing campaigns.
    • Develop trade collateral — catalogues, flip books, pitches, education, training resources and merch.
    • Execute trade fairs, and manage content requirements for independents and the wholesale portal.
    • Support growth of our corporate partners through tailored campaign and trade activity.
  • Website & Partnerships
    • Support development of D2C website assets, including campaign landing pages and product content.
    • Manage brand partnerships and collaborations day to day (major partnerships sit with the Head of Brand).

What we're looking for

  • 4 to 6 years’ experience in marketing, campaign management or marketing project management, ideally at a direct to consumer or premium consumer brand.
  • Demonstrated experience running campaigns end to end — planning, briefing, timelines, delivery and reporting.
  • Experience briefing and working with designers, content and digital/ecommerce teams, and external agencies.
  • Strong copywriting skills across product and campaign copy.
  • Experience in trade marketing, B2B or wholesale communications (FMCG, beauty, personal care or home care highly regarded).
  • Confident with a project management tool such as Monday.com or similar.
  • Exceptional organisation and attention to detail, and the ability to hold peers to deadlines constructively.
  • Calm and solutions focused when timelines tighten.
