Akiba is one of Canberra's most established and recognisable restaurants, located in the heart of the CBD.
We're a high-volume, fast-paced venue built around bold Asian-inspired food, cocktails, great service and an energetic atmosphere.
We're looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager with the confidence, leadership and gravitas to take ownership of the venue and lead a large, high-performing front-of-house team.
With 190 seats, approximately 30 floor staff, this is a genuine leadership role for someone who commands respect, leads from the front and knows how to run a busy Venue and is all about personal guest experiences.
The Role
You'll be responsible for
- Leading and developing the FOH team
- Overseeing daily operations and service standards
- Rostering and labour management
- Training and team performance
- Stock, costs and KPIs
- Venue presentation and compliance
- Delivering a consistently excellent guest experience
- Working closely with the Head Chef and senior management
