AJ Technology Services QLD undertakes installation and maintenance of voice and data networks, electronic security, CCTV and audio visual systems across Queensland, from our offices in Toowoomba and Brisbane.
Our company has been established for over 20 years and with new projects coming online, we are seeking additional staff to join our team.
Opportunities exist for qualified Senior Telecommunications Technicians based in our Toowoomba office, with free parking on site, working mostly Monday to Friday with opportunity to work overtime as well as receive substantial remote working allowances.
Similar positions are also available from our Brisbane office.
Key responsibilities
- Installation and coordination of structured copper and fibre cabling projects
- Undertake fibre optic splicing, termination and testing
- On site supervision and mentoring of technicians
- Read and execute work from drawings and specifications
- Strong communication with project managers
About you
- 5 years industry experience
- Open ACMA licence with endorsements (cablers licence)
- General Construction Card (white card)
- Possess or have the ability to qualify for a Working with Children card
- Current Drivers Licence
- Demonstrated experience in fibre optic splicing, termination and testing
- Demonstrated experience in structured copper and fibre cabling projects
- Ability to read and work from drawings and specifications
- Demonstrate strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- A great pay rate (depending on experience)
- Fully maintained company vehicle (with fuel card)
- Laptop and mobile phone provided
