We are currently recruiting for a Site Electrical Engineer to join a major renewable energy project based in Canberra. This role will support the delivery of utility‐scale solar and BESS projects, working on-site with a strong focus on quality, safety, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily on-site electrical works across solar PV and battery storage systems
- Prepare and manage work packs to support construction activities
- Assist with the development and implementation of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
- Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety requirements
- Act as a key communication link between site teams and the project office
About You
- Degree‐qualified in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in site‐based roles within solar and/or BESS projects
- Strong knowledge of ITPs and work pack documentation
- Good understanding of industry standards and safety compliance
- Valid driver's license and willingness to work on a project site
- Must hold full Australian working rights (Citizen, PR, or valid visa)
