This is an opportunity to join the team at Health + Beauty Express Cairns Airport as a Retail Assistant / Beauty Advisor. Working shifts at our Cairns Airport store, you'll help travellers find the right health and beauty products.
What you'll be doing:
- Assisting travellers with their health and beauty needs, including advice and recommendations on fragrance, skincare and cosmetics
- Maintaining stock levels and keeping displays well organised and presentable
- Processing sales and handling cash and card payments accurately
- Supporting the store manager with deliveries, admin and other duties as required
- Upholding the highest standards of customer service and professional conduct
What we're looking for:
- At least 6 months' experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably in pharmacy or beauty
- Availability for early morning starts and weekend shifts
- The ability to pass the background check for an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC). We arrange the application
- Australian work rights for the hours offered
You’ll also bring:
- Strong communication skills and a real interest in health, wellbeing and beauty products
- Attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately
- A friendly, professional attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
- A second language is a bonus, especially Japanese, Mandarin or Korean
