Registered Plumber – Mechanical Services (Refrigerated Air-Conditioning)
You'll be involved in installing and commissioning residential reverse-cycle air-conditioning systems, with the majority of our projects involving ducted systems. Airostream specialises in replacing outdated gas ducted heating with modern, energy-efficient reverse-cycle air conditioning systems, primarily through the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program.
Key responsibilities
- Installing ducted reverse-cycle air-conditioning systems and associated mechanical services
- Working with our installation team to deliver high-quality residential projects
- Supervising and assisting other installers where required
- Assistance with completing compliance documentation
- Ensuring installations meet relevant BPC, ARCtick and Australian Standards requirements
- Assisting with technical advice and installation quality
About you
- A current Victorian Plumbing registration in Mechanical Services
- A current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence appropriate to the work - RSS03 minimum
- Practical experience with residential air-conditioning installations
- A strong work ethic, reliability and pride in your workmanship
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a small team
- A Gasfitting licence would be an advantage
