Who we are
The Ahara Group runs Australian healthy food brands including Macros, Soulara and vEEF. We’re an AI-first business: AI already forecasts our kitchen, runs customer service and drives our operations. Now we’re doing the same to finance, building automation directly on the Xero API.
What you’ll do
Now: run and automate our finance
Own month-end, management accounts and cash flow across multiple entities
Design and monitor AI automations on Xero: bank reconciliation, bill capture, payables, receivables, reporting
Decide what AI can handle and where human judgement must stay, and keep the automations accurate and auditable
Real-time dashboards so the business knows its numbers daily, not monthly
Payroll, BAS, GST and super compliance, working with our external accountant
Next: build AI accounting for others
Turn what works at Ahara into an AI accounting offering for other businesses, through our sister company AusSII
Help design the product, test it with clients and shape how it’s sold
Grow into the lead of AusSII’s AI Accounting division
You might be right for this if
You’re CA or CPA qualified, or close to it, with solid hands- on accounting experience
You know Xero deeply and get frustrated doing things a machine should do
You already use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) in your work and want to go further
You can talk to engineers. You don’t need to code, but you understand APIs, data and workflows.
You think like a builder and a business owner, not just a controller
