The Coordinator, Industry provides high quality coordination, administration and operational support across the Industry Research and Investment portfolio through the Industry Hub shared services model.
ABOUT AGRIFUTURES AUSTRALIA
At AgriFutures Australia our vision is to grow the long-term prosperity of Australian rural industries and communities.
We do this through the delivery of research, development and extension programs for our established and emerging industries. We also deliver programs that address the key challenges and important issues currently facing, and on the horizon for, Australian agriculture and its workforce.
We place people at the centre of everything we do. We listen, connect and collaborate domestically and globally with our industries, Representative Organisations, Research and Development Corporations, government, researchers, industry bodies and other partners.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Help keep research moving and people connected across Australia’s rural industries. As Coordinator, Industry, you’ll be part of our Industry Hub, supporting Plant Industries, Animal Industries and Cross-Sector Research. You’ll coordinate stakeholder meetings and support contracts and projects, bringing attention to detail to the organisation and helping our research and investment programs run smoothly.
Reporting to the Manager, Industry Hub, you’ll work across a diverse mix of industries, build relationships and learn about the research shaping their future. You’ll coordinate activities, keep systems and records up to date, support governance processes and help the team stay on top of deadlines - spotting gaps and flagging issues early.
If you enjoy variety, bringing people together and the satisfaction of getting things done, this role offers the opportunity to put those strengths to work. You’ll collaborate with colleagues, take initiative, pitch in during busy periods and find ways to make everyday processes work better—all while supporting research that contributes to the long-term prosperity of rural industries and communities.
