Office Administrator
We are seeking an organised, reliable and friendly Office Administrator to join our manufacturing business.
This role would suit someone who enjoys a varied working day and is confident communicating with farmers, contractors, suppliers and customers. Previous experience within agriculture, agricultural machinery or a rural business environment is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering phone calls and responding to customer enquiries
- Preparing quotes, sales orders and invoices
- Processing customer orders and following up deliveries
- General data entry and record keeping
- Coordinating with the sales, workshop and production teams
- Ordering parts and communicating with suppliers
- Assisting with freight and transport arrangements
- Maintaining customer and product information
- Providing general administrative support
- Assisting with marketing and social media when required
About you
The successful applicant will have:
- Previous office administration experience
- Agricultural or agricultural machinery experience- highly desirable
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Good computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
- A practical, positive and problem-solving attitude
- Experience with accounting, quoting or inventory software would be an advantage
Knowledge of tractors, agricultural implements, farming terminology or rural businesses would be highly regarded.
