About the Role
As a Service Technician (Electrical) you will have the opportunity to provide safe and high-quality electrical and irrigation services that support service and project delivery across Darling Irrigation.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Carrying out installations, repairs and service work on a variety of pumps and water systems, including stock water, solar pumps, diesel engines, drip irrigation, centre pivots, filtration systems and automation
Undertaking fault finding and diagnostics across a variety of equipment with a focus on irrigation pumps, filtration systems and automation
Demonstrating clear and open communication with customers and a flexible approach.
Working with a team environment with a strong desire for the team to succeed.
Working unsupervised on location with a strong commitment to safety.
About You
You will have:
Relevant qualifications, licences and certifications (for example, NSW Electrical Licence, Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation and Control [desirable], white card, manual drivers licence, and HR licences)
Proven experience in industrial and commercial electrical installation and commissioning.
Strong troubleshooting skills using PLC, SCADA, HMI and other various commercial and industrial platforms
A safety-first mindset and commitment to quality work.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Well-developed technical and product knowledge in the irrigation industry, particularly in pressurised irrigation systems, pump stations, centre pivots, filtration, automation and other irrigation systems, and solar installation experience (desirable)
