A freelance senior leadership opportunity is now available in Sydney, that would suit an established PR Senior Account Manager or newly-appointed PR Account Director with food, retail or FMCG experience. You also have proven influencer campaign experience. You can manage big clients, big budgets, big personalities and can keep your cool under pressure! If you are looking to move into a large agency, and work across internal teams (PR, digital, creative) in a freelance capacity, this is it!
Must have recent PR agency experience to be considered. Sponsorship is not available.
The Opportunity:
- Support the General Manager to manage consumer/corporate PR & media campaigns
- Be a strategic trusted client advisor through the delivery of outstanding end-to-end client experience
- Work with the General Manager to develop PR strategies & new client/product offerings
- Liaise with C-Suite level clients
- Support a team of Coordinators, Executives and Account Managers
- Develop engaging and dynamic corporate PR campaigns for your clients
- Identify and participate in external thought leadership opportunities to build awareness of the agency’s expertise
- Update media lists and ensure you are well networked with local and national corporate media
You:
- Live in Sydney, Australia
- Have at least 5-6+ years public relations experience (agency preferred)
- Have an excellent understanding of the Australian media landscape
- Previous experience working across corporate clients is desirable
- You’re a conceptual thinker and leader and up to date with current digital trends across the Australian media landscape and platforms (web, mobile, audio, email and social media)
- You’re a natural storyteller and have innovative ways to bring a story to life through your work
- Have excellent communication skills (including written and verbal)
- Can develop presentation decks with a clear narrative
