AFL Recruitment - Accounting Financial Legal is seeking a Wills/Estate Planning and Litigation Lawyer/Practice Leader with a minimum of 6 years of experience. This role is within a multi-award winning, forward-thinking law firm that is rapidly growing.

Our client is looking to formalise and grow their existing Succession Law practice.
YOUR NEW ROLE
In this highly valued newly created role as the firm’s key go-to succession lawyer, you will enjoy the autonomy, variety, and satisfaction of managing your own personal case load, solving all types of interesting succession law issues/disputes across the full spectrum, including:
- Estate/succession planning issues
- Testamentary trusts/asset protection
- Wills/powers of attorney
- Probate and administration of estates
- Contested wills/estates litigation (Family Provision Act claims)
You will also partake in business development and marketing to further grow the practice, and as the practice grows, take on a leadership/mentoring/training role supporting succession lawyers/paralegals.

WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you:
- Are admitted as a lawyer in NSW and have a minimum of 6 years post-admission experience in wills/estates law
- Have broad-ranging experience across estate planning/wills, estate administration, and estate litigation
- Preferably are an accredited specialist in succession law or have attained/studying a Graduate Diploma of Applied Law (Wills and Estates) or Master of Laws specializing in Wills/Estates
- Have strong time prioritization, people, leadership, and client management skills
- Are a self-starter, results-focused, proactive, and possess a strong commercial acumen
- Enjoy building relationships/networking and have had some new client development/marketing experience
- Are ambitious and seeking a long-term legal home where you can grow and flourish
