For 30 years, Aesthetic Laser Dentistry has cared for patients in Airport West. Today we are a busy practice offering comprehensive dental care and aesthetic dentistry under one roof. We look after patients from their first check-up through to complex treatment: general and preventive care, orthodontics, implants, cosmetic restorations and smile design.
Orthodontics is a big part of what we do, with a steady flow of clear aligner patients every week. We also do much of our own lab work in house, including 3D printing, models and appliances, so our team sees cases from scan to finished result.
We take our time with patients and we explain things properly. Our nurses are a big part of why patients feel looked after here.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are growing our clinical team and looking for a full-time dental nurse, four days a week Tuesday - Friday. If you are reliable, keen to learn and good with people, we will teach you the rest.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Assist chairside across general, aesthetic, implant and orthodontic treatment
Support our orthodontic patients, including aligner fits, scans and reviews
Help with in-house lab work, such as 3D printing and preparing models and appliances
Capture intraoral scans and clinical photographs
Prepare and reset surgeries so each appointment runs smoothly and on time
Carry out sterilisation and infection control to our written procedures, including the final sterilisation run at the end of the day
Help patients feel calm and comfortable from the moment they sit down
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
A caring, calm manner with patients
Reliability, attention to detail and pride in a tidy, well-run surgery
Willingness to learn and take feedback
Comfort working in a busy clinic where no two days are the same
Ideally, a Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting.
