Our Brisbane highways team is in a strong position, delivering major transport projects locally while continuing to secure new work nationally. There’s real momentum, a healthy forward pipeline and the support of a broader ANZ technical network so you’ll have consistent project exposure and the backing to do your best work.
How you’ll make a difference
- Deliver highways design across transport infrastructure projects, including civil arrangements, geometric design for roads, cycleways and footpaths, signage, public utility plant (PUP) and safety barriers.
- Produce high-quality drawings and models in accordance with RPDM, Austroads and client standards.
- Prepare design documentation and ensure all deliverables meet project specifications, quality standards and delivery timeframes.
The qualities that help you thrive
- An Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- 7+ years of experience in highways design, ideally within TMR and/or major infrastructure projects.
- You’re an experienced CAD Draftsperson based in South East Queensland (SEQ), looking to contribute to some of the region’s most iconic highway and civil infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience producing high-quality CAD drawings and design documentation to support project delivery.
- Experience with design tools such as MicroStation, OpenRoads, Civil 3D, InfraWorks, Navisworks or Revizto is desirable.
