Adventist HealthCare Limited (Aus) is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neurosurgery/Neuroscience ward (Radley Ward), a 29-bed unit that provides a fast-paced, diverse environment for care across a range of conditions.

What You Will Be Doing In This Role

We’re excited to offer opportunities for experienced Registered Nurses to join our Neuroscience/Neurosurgery ward, the Radley Ward. You’ll care for patients with conditions including acute stroke care, brain and spinal surgeries, neuro-oncology procedures, and general adult neurology cases such as Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Migraines, and Seizures. Radley is a Stroke Unit and a leader in Parkinson’s treatment offering therapies such as Deep Brain Stimulation, Apomorphine, and Duodopa. You’ll be part of a close-knit team with collaboration, compassion, and patient-centered care at the heart of everything we do. Reporting to the Nursing Unit Manager, you’ll receive hands-on training, buddy shifts, and guidance as you transition into your role. Our NUM has an open-door policy and cares about the wellbeing of patients and staff. If you’re passionate about delivering high-quality care in a supportive, team-focused environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, with at least 2 years of post-registration experience.
  • A background in neuroscience/neurosurgery (preferred) or surgical nursing, with a strong willingness to learn and expand expertise in these areas.
  • High level of empathy and emotional intelligence to connect with patients and families.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to build professional relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster of 8-hour shifts.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
