You will lead the home's day-to-day operations with a focus on residents' wellbeing, team performance and continuous improvement.
You will work closely with the Director of Care and draw on Advantaged Care's operational, clinical and quality support.
Your leadership will combine clear direction and sound commercial judgement with a visible, approachable style.
Key responsibilities
Oversee occupancy, staffing, rostering, hospitality, maintenance and financial performance.
Partner with the Director of Care to maintain safe, coordinated care that reflects residents' needs, preferences and choices.
Support and develop our dedicated team, building on their commitment to exceptional resident care.
Maintain effective quality, risk management and reporting systems, and lead accreditation readiness and improvement actions.
Build trusted relationships with residents and families, respond to feedback and resolve concerns.
About you
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
A demonstrated track record of successfully leading a comparable residential aged care home, with evidence of sustained improvements in care quality, workforce performance, occupancy and financial management.
Five or more years' experience in senior residential aged care leadership is preferred.
Sound knowledge of aged care quality and regulatory requirements, clinical governance and risk management.
Strong skills in people management, budgeting, occupancy and workforce planning.
Clear communication, sound judgement and a practical approach to resolving problems.
Demonstrated proficiency in digital, rostering, care and reporting systems, with the ability to use data to improve care and operational performance.
