We are growing our Building Services team and looking for an experienced Senior Associate Electrical Engineer to join us in Adelaide. You'll work across a diverse portfolio of projects spanning multiple sectors, playing a central role in delivering high-quality electrical engineering solutions and supporting the continued growth of our Adelaide practice.

Who We Are

Founded in 2011 in Australia, ADP Consulting is a trusted, sustainability-led engineering consultancy with an international footprint that is renowned for finding the best technical and sustainable solutions to the most complex projects, wherever these may be. ADP Consulting is committed to inspiring a better world through influence and design, collaborating with industry leaders who are equally as passionate about innovation, design excellence and, importantly, our impact on the planet. ADP Consulting has now joined forces with Ayesa, one of the world's largest technology and engineering companies, in a move that facilitates new pathways and accelerates our growth.

What is your role?

You'll lead the technical delivery of electrical engineering projects across a diverse range of sectors, taking ownership from concept through to construction. This means managing design outputs, coordinating with architects, other disciplines and contractors, and maintaining the quality and schedule of projects you lead. You'll also play an important role in the development of the Adelaide team, mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the culture and capability of the office. Client liaison is a natural part of your week, and you'll be comfortable holding relationships and representing ADP Consulting with confidence on site and in meetings.

Why Electrical Engineers Are Choosing ADP Right Now

  • A genuine step up: a Senior Associate title with the project ownership and team responsibility to match, not just an upgraded business card.
  • A diverse project portfolio spanning multiple sectors, with the variety and complexity to keep your technical skills sharp.
  • A collaborative multidisciplinary environment with direct access to hydraulics, mechanical, fire and sustainability teams under one roof.
  • Structured pathways to Associate Director and beyond, with support for Engineers Australia chartership and annual funding for professional development.

About You

You are a strong Associate Electrical Engineer who is ready for more. You have the technical foundation and the project experience to lead, and you are looking for a firm that will give you the room and the title to do it. You are comfortable working across sectors, confident with clients, and motivated by the idea of helping build something in Adelaide, not just working in it. You bring solid experience in electrical services design in building services consulting, with a track record of delivering projects across multiple sectors. You are confident leading projects end-to-end, managing design programs, coordinating with other disciplines and keeping clients informed throughout. You have experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers and you take that responsibility seriously. You have a sound understanding of Australian Standards, NCC and the regulatory requirements that apply to electrical services design in South Australia. You communicate clearly with clients and consultants, and you represent yourself and your team with confidence in project meetings and on site. You hold a relevant tertiary qualification in electrical engineering and are working towards or hold professional registration in South Australia.
