A busy clinic, a strong team and a community of clients we love helping get stronger. Our front desk is at the heart of it all, and we are looking for someone who brings warmth, initiative and a love of helping people and getting things done. We are looking for an organised, positive and dependable person to join our front desk team at Adjust Health. You will be the friendly face welcoming our clients, the helpful voice on the phone, and an important part of keeping our clinic running smoothly. We are looking for someone who enjoys customer service, takes pride in their work and wants to build a long-term place in our team.
A little about us: Adjust has been helping the Northern Gold Coast community Get Better. Get Moving. Get Strong. for over 20 years. Since moving from Coomera to our spacious Oxenford facility, we have continued to grow our services and the ways we support our clients. We bring together physiotherapy, exercise physiology, remedial massage, podiatry and a large onsite rehabilitation and strength gym. That means a varied, bustling workplace. On any given day, you will be welcoming someone to their first appointment, helping a regular client organise their next booking, or answering questions about our gym memberships. Our front desk team makes the client experience welcoming, clear and easy, while juggling the day-to-day support our practitioners and directors need to perform at their best for our clients.
What you will be doing:
- Welcoming clients and helping them feel comfortable and looked after.
- Managing phone calls, emails, enquiries and appointment bookings.
- Coordinating diaries across multiple practitioners and services.
- Processing payments and claims, and keeping client records accurate.
- Helping clients navigate our services, gym memberships and booking options.
- Handling questions or concerns with patience, professionalism and good judgement.
- Working closely with our practitioners and management to keep the day running smoothly.
- Learning our systems and contributing ideas that improve the client experience and how we work.
The person we are looking for:
- You enjoy working with people, including when a conversation needs a little extra patience or care.
- You can be friendly and approachable while remaining professional, clear and calm.
- You enjoy being busy and find satisfaction in juggling priorities and keeping things moving.
- You stay calm under pressure and can work out what needs attention first.
- You are organised and reliable, arriving ready for work and following through on commitments.
- You care about getting things right and can adapt, paying attention to detail while staying practical.
- You take feedback well, ask questions, and put what you learn into practice.
- You bring a constructive attitude and help find a way forward when challenges arise.
- You work well with others, communicating respectfully and contributing to a positive workplace.
- You can reset after a demanding day, maintaining perspective for a fresh start.
- You want to stay and grow, looking for a long-term role and interested in evolving with the practice.
An interest in health, exercise or gym training will help you connect with what we do. Allied health or medical reception experience is welcome, but the qualities above matter more to us than your existing technical skills. We can teach you our systems and processes. The care you show people, the initiative you take and the attitude you bring to the team need to come from you.
What you can look forward to:
- A full-time role with a regular roster.
- A modern Oxenford workplace with onsite parking.
- A staff gym membership for yourself.
- A varied role where your work makes a difference to people’s day.
- An intensive first-week orientation to help you get to know our services, systems, team and front desk processes.
- Weekly one-to-one meetings with your supervisor for ongoing training, feedback and support.
- A weekly administration team meeting to develop our systems, share ideas and improve how we work together.
- Opportunities to build your knowledge and take on greater responsibility as you develop.
- Working alongside a multidisciplinary team passionate about helping people improve their health.
Hours and availability:
This is a full-time position, largely Monday to Friday, with a regular roster scheduled between 7:30am and 7:00pm. You must be available to work across that range. Your roster will generally include two early starts and two late finishes each week. Occasional Saturday shifts from 8:00am to 12:00pm are also required to cover team members who are on leave or unwell. Please make sure these hours suit your ongoing commitments. We are looking for someone who can commit to the regular full-time roster and is seeking a long-term position.
