Concreters, Steel Fixers & Formworkers | Local & FIFO
ADG Group NQ is seeking experienced Concreters, Steel Fixers, Formworkers and Blockworkers/Bricklayers for civil construction opportunities in Mount Isa.

Local and FIFO positions are available, with short and longer term opportunities to suit your availability.
- WHAT’S ON OFFER
- Local starting rates of $50–$55 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
- Experienced FIFO starting rates of $55–$60 per hour.
- Higher rates considered for candidates who bring additional experience and capability.
- Local Mount Isa and FIFO opportunities.
- Short and longer term contracts.
- Flexible roster options, with a minimum FIFO roster of 2 weeks on / 1 week off.
- FIFO flights from Brisbane, Cairns and Townsville.
- Accommodation and a daily meal allowance provided for FIFO employees.
- WHO WE’R LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for experienced people across the following roles
- Concreters — with proven skills across steel fixing, formwork, concrete placement and finishing.
- Steel Fixers.
- Formworkers.
- Blockworkers/Bricklayers.
Experience across multiple areas will be highly regarded.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Proven experience in your relevant trade or role.
- A strong safety mindset and commitment to site procedures.
- Attention to detail and pride in delivering work to specification.
- Reliability, a positive attitude and the ability to work well within a crew.
- The ability to work efficiently while maintaining safety and quality.
- The ability to meet site medical and drug and alcohol screening requirements, including ongoing testing.
- ADDITIONAL SKILLS WE VALUE
- Mine site civil construction and concreting experience.
- S1, S2 and S3 supervisor accreditation.
- Relevant RII competencies for skid steers, excavators or rollers.
- An MR or HR truck licence.
