The role
Reporting to the Quarry Manager, you will play a key leadership role in daily quarry operations, ensuring safety, production efficiency, and high-quality output.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong operational experience and a passion for leading people in a dynamic quarry environment.

Responsibilities
- Manage safety across site, ensuring compliance with legislation and Adbri safety standards.
- Monitor plant performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support maintenance planning and ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently.
- Foster a positive team culture built on communication, accountability, and respect.
- What you will need to succeed
- Previous supervisory or leading-hand experience in quarrying, mining, or heavy industry
- Commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Certificate 4 in Surface Operations Management
- Diploma in Surface Operations Management is desirable but not essential.
- RSHQ SSE Notice desirable but not essential.
