About The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, this role will oversee daily operations for the ATR truck rental business in South Australia, while also supporting customer growth and business development activity. The role has a strong operational focus, with responsibility across:
- Equipment returns, inspections, reporting, damage records and end of hire reconciliation.
- Equipment preparation, including cleaning, basic repairs, servicing, safety checks and pre-hire inspections.
- Equipment delivery and handover to customers, including driver familiarisation and service support.
- Rental management, including vehicle hire, handover, return activity and accurate rental records.
- Regulatory inspections, defect resolution, servicing and compliance requirements.
- Building customer relationships, following up leads, preparing quotes and supporting customer growth.
About You
- Experience managing operations in a similar environment, such as fleet, hire, transport or mechanical services.
- Strong understanding of equipment preparation, returns, inspections, servicing and compliance.
- Minimum HR licence and willingness to upgrade to HC.
- Confident working with customers, suppliers, contractors and dealer networks.
- Comfortable supporting sales activities, such as following up leads and enquiries, preparing quotes and attending new business meetings.
- Comfortable working autonomously and managing competing operational priorities.
