Acuity Partners is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support category strategies spanning sourcing, contracting, supplier engagement and risk governance. You'll facilitate contract negotiations, manage supplier performance, and deliver measurable value for money across critical procurement categories.
12 month fixed term contract suits a commercially-astute procurement professional ready to step into a major defence programme and influence high-value categories and drive operational performance in a complex supply chain environment.
Key responsibilities
Support the delivery of category strategies and sourcing plans
Lead cross-functional activities
Conduct strategic negotiations and contract lifecycle management
Engage suppliers to ensure commitments are met effectively and efficiently
Proactively support procurement teams as required in other projects
About you
Relevant supply chain/procurement roles in engineering, mining or defence
Exposure to supporting and managing complex contracts / subcontracts
Highly proactive and diligent nature
Strong team player with good engagement skills
Strong aptitude for learning and the ability to adapt to new environments
Demonstrated cost savings and proven commercial outcomes
Eligible for Baseline clearance (must be an Australian Citizen)
