The role
We are seeking a trade-qualified and experienced Carpenter to join our construction team.
This is an ongoing, full-time position offering weekly pay and a travel allowance.
You will work on varied projects across Sydney as part of a professional and safety-focused team.
- Key duties
- Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and install timber and other building materials.
- Construct and install frameworks, walls, floors, doors, fixtures and fittings.
- Complete carpentry work for new builds, renovations, refurbishments and repairs.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a safe, organised and professional worksite.
Skills and experience
- Certificate III in Carpentry or an equivalent trade qualification.
- At least two years of relevant carpentry experience.
- Ability to read and work from construction plans and specifications.
- Current Construction White Card and own suitable personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Current Australian driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle.
- Professional, punctual and hardworking, with strong trade skills and attention to detail.
- Physically capable of performing the role safely and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Competent in using construction hand and power tools.
- Working at Heights certification is desirable but not essential.
