About the Role:

Canberra Health Services is seeking a talented and motivated professional to join its Decision Support Unit, supporting strategic healthcare planning, funding, and performance initiatives that benefit the ACT community. Reporting to the Director, Costing and Performance, the Assistant Director is a key position within the Decision Support Unit (DSU), a multidisciplinary team that drives organisational performance through strategic planning, activity-based funding (ABF), health information services, data quality, digital health optimisation, ICT services, and decision support.

Working at the intersection of healthcare, finance, and analytics, you will provide critical costing and funding insights that support informed decision-making, enhance operational performance, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality health services for our community. As Canberra Health Services continues its transition to an Activity Based Funding environment, this role will be instrumental in ensuring clinical costing accurately reflects service delivery and supports sustainable resource allocation.
