ACT Day Hospital is a newly established, purpose-built, state-of-the-art private day hospital located in Deakin, Canberra. Designed to provide an exceptional patient experience, our modern facility features two fully equipped operating theatres, including an advanced Angio Suite, cutting-edge technology, and a highly experienced perioperative team committed to delivering outstanding clinical care. Surgical Specialities include Ophthalmology, Dental, Interventional pain procedures, minor general and IVF.
We are seeking an experienced Perioperative Anaesthetic nurse with also experience in Post-Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients undergoing surgical and procedural interventions. Working closely with anaesthetists, surgeons and the multidisciplinary perioperative team, the role supports safe anaesthetic practice, airway management, patient monitoring, pain management and post-operative recovery.
Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care, ensuring patients safely meet recovery and discharge criteria. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to patient safety, accurate clinical documentation, patient education, continuous quality improvement and ongoing professional development within a supportive perioperative environment.
About You:

- Experience in Anaesthetic/ Recovery PACU Nursing is essential

Essential Criteria:
- Registered with current AHPRA registration
- Experience in Anaesthetic Nursing

- National Police Clearance (NPC)
