Are you a self-motivated professional with a friendly demeanour and a knack for problem-solving? We are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant / Office Manager to join our team and take charge of key operational responsibilities within a thriving business. This role offers a unique opportunity for an energetic individual to work independently while becoming the central point of contact, ensuring smooth daily operations and supporting the company’s ongoing consolidation and growth.

In this crucial role, you will initially manage client bookings for two building inspectors via a web-based scheduling system, verify completed reports, process payments, and facilitate timely report releases — handling approximately 30 reports weekly. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing phone inquiries and client bookings through the scheduling system
  • Checking the bank account to confirm report payments and releasing reports
  • Handling scheduling conflicts and client timelines with professionalism
  • Learning and efficiently utilising pest and building scheduling software
  • Supporting ongoing administrative functions related to accounts and payroll

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging clients with respect and consideration
  • Strong organisational skills and the initiative to work independently without constant supervision
  • Reliability and integrity as core personal traits
  • A bright, energetic personality with a professional attitude

Preferred but not essential:

  • Youthful enthusiasm paired with maturity
  • Experience with scheduling systems in a service-based environment
  • Flexibility to work remotely, with initial office-based setup being ideal

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in administrative or client-facing roles
  • A background in office management or relevant industry experience (preferred but not mandatory)

Other requirements:

  • Availability for flexible hours between 9:00 and 15:30, with the role typically requiring less than full-time hours
  • Ability to start when the right candidate is found
  • Full training provided by our experienced team

Join us if you value honesty, reliability, and initiative, and are ready to make this role your own. This is more than a job—it's an exciting step into a position that rewards your proactive approach and dedication. Take the leap and become an integral part of our evolving business!
