Ace Mechanical Solutions is a Hunter Valley-based company specializing in the maintenance and repairs of hydraulic Excavators and Face shovels in the mining sector. This is a 4-year apprenticeship program that provides a comprehensive training package with a strong focus on health and safety and developing the correct techniques when using trade tooling and equipment. Training will be provided by supervisors and experienced tradespersons throughout your apprenticeship to develop the knowledge and skills to become a competent tradesperson, and you will also complete formal training at TAFE. At completion, you will have a nationally recognized Certificate 3 in your chosen trade. This apprenticeship will consist of a variety of work between the workshop in Rutherford and on multiple sites within the Hunter Valley.
Key responsibilities:
- Complete practical and theory-based study requirements of the apprenticeship
- Develop knowledge and skills in your chosen trade under supervision of experienced tradespersons
- Work on maintenance and repairs of hydraulic Excavators and Face shovels
- Contribute to workshop and on-site work across multiple locations

- Access to your own reliable transport to and from site
- Reliable for full-time working hours Monday to Friday and some weekends
- Committed to completing and passing all practical and theory-based study requirements
- Strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude
