Accruent is a leading provider of solutions for unifying the built environment — spanning real estate, physical and digital assets, and the integrated technology systems that connect and control them. Accruent continues to set new expectations for how organizations can use data to transform how they manage their facilities and assets.
As a forward-thinking technology company, we are focused on helping our customers use data, software and insight to make smarter decisions about the spaces, assets and systems they rely on. For our people, that means meaningful work, access to new challenges and the opportunity to keep developing personally and professionally.
Our Professional Services team plays a key role in helping customers get the best possible value from Accruent's solutions. This is an opportunity for an experienced consultant to work with a collaborative, highly capable team on diverse and interesting customer projects.
You will help clients understand their business needs, shape practical solutions and implement enterprise software that supports the way they manage their facilities, assets and operations. The work is varied, commercially meaningful and well suited to someone who enjoys problem solving, customer partnership and continuous learning.
As a Senior Consultant, you will bring experience, confidence and sound judgement to customer engagements. You will take the time to understand each customer's requirements and translate them into practical, effective product solutions using Accruent's enterprise software. You will become a trusted product expert, guiding customers on best practice, identifying opportunities for improvement and helping them achieve strong outcomes from their investment in Accruent.
This is a diverse role where no two projects are quite the same. You will partner with customers, Project Managers and other Consultants across both smaller engagements and larger implementation programs. Success in this role will come from strong communication, curiosity, commercial awareness and the ability to manage competing priorities with confidence.
You will be supported by a great team that values collaboration, accountability and sharing knowledge, while also having the autonomy expected of a senior professional. Much of this role will be Application configuration, however it will also involve data transformation and business analysis, including Customer Training and documentation. Many customers require on-site support, so travel and time at customer locations will be part of your responsibilities.
This position reports directly to the Manager, Professional Services and is a hybrid role with the local office located in Brisbane, Australia.
How you'll make a difference:
- Travel to our customer locations to deliver on-site training and consulting services for the Accruent product families.
- Successfully balance multiple projects and diverse assignments.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for our PS engaged customer base, supporting their enquiries and adhering to the Accruent policies and ways of working.
- Collaborate with the project team to understand objectives, collect requirements, configure the software application, test and train end users.
- Become a subject matter expert, providing a valuable resource of truth to support both Customer and the Accruent teams.
- Communicate complex concepts clearly and present confidently in professional settings.
- Work independently with strong self-motivation and a clear focus on customer delivery.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration) or equivalent work experience with implementing software technology.
- Consultant experience within the CMMS or EDMS software space.
- Excellent communication, analytical, facilitation and consulting skills.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and independently and drive for results.
- Ability to translate customer business requirements into business solutions.
- Experience with all phases of a client software implementation lifecycle, including initial needs analysis, project administration, software installation, onsite training, systems troubleshooting, and ongoing account management.
- Track record of capitalizing upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships is a plus.
- Experience managing resources and commitments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Please Note:
- This is a full-time position.
- Relocation will not be considered for this position.
- At this time, visa sponsorship is not available.
- All job offers are contingent upon a successful background investigation.
